Mind Rocket's annual yoga competition was held on 24th September. The competition is named - "Panchanan Naskar Memorial Yoga Competition" in memory of the late colleague. More than 100 contestants participated in a total of 9 categories. Contestants from 5 to 69 years of age range give their yoga practice examples. Since this is the first yoga competition in 24 Parganas after Corona, the participants' enthusiasm is worth seeing.
National Level Yoga Judge Honorable Shri Bhaskar Mitra Mahashay inaugurated the program and said, "This effort of Mind Rocket will make the present generation more enthusiastic about yoga practice. It will help in building a healthy society by getting rid of the mental instability that has been created in the society through the internet and social media."
He also praised Mind Rocket's other efforts in developing the child's mind, such as chess, abacus, etc. He also wished success for the chess competition to be held on October 15. The program concluded with the distribution of prizes and certificates.

Balanced Life Day is special for us. We have started celebrating this special day in 2022. Being the exact middle day of the year, 2nd June has 182 predecessor days and 1182 successor days.
Every new year, people take some resolutions which most people forget very soon. As the middle day of the year, those people have the exactly same number of days to recall their resolutions and may fulfill them.
On the other hand, due to various reasons, our normal day-to-day life is totally unbalanced. So, this is our call to remember the good habits and follow them m once again in our lives.
Like the previous year, this year also we celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21st, 2023. This event was organized to spread awareness about the benefits of yoga and meditation in our local area. For the year 2023, the 9th year of International Yoga Day, the theme was "Yoga For Vasudeva Kutumbakam". This concept emphasizes on "One Earth, One Family, and One Future" concept.
Our students and a few guardians of our students performed yoga on this special day. The participants were awarded certificates on this occasion.
Alan Turing, often referred to as the "father of digital computer", was a renowned British mathematician, logician, and
computer scientist who made groundbreaking contributions
to the fields of mathematics and computing. He was born on June 23, 1912, in London, England. Turing's exceptional
intelligence and logical thinking abilities were evident from a young age.
During World War II, Turing played a vital role in breaking the German Enigma code, a highly sophisticated encryption system
used by the Nazis. His work significantly impacted the outcome of the war. Turing's contributions in designing machines to
decrypt Enigma messages not only saved countless lives but also paved the way for the development of electronic computers.
After the war, Turing focused on the emerging field of computer science. He proposed the idea of artificial intelligence and
developed the concept of the Turing test, a method to assess a machine's ability to exhibit human-like intelligence. His work
in this area opened up new possibilities and inspired generations of researchers in the field of AI.
Tragically, this great scientist passed away on June 7, 1954, at the age of 41.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is an immortal freedom fighter for all Bengalis. The bravery and courage he had is of no comparison. Our sincere gratitude to the national hero on his 126th birthday. But, how long we have to wait for the truth about his disappearance?
Our first annual picnic was celebrated on 15th of this month. Students from Chess, Yoga and Abacus batches attened in this small arrangement. We have enjoyed a lot.
Due to exams, many of our students were not able to attend the picnic. It really hurts, but we don't have any option! This event id going to be a huge occasion next year. We are all looking forward to this.
This was a very small arrangement this year. The students who were present this day, participated. But it was really a fun. The small program was sweeter than the sweets and cake we had!
Mind Rocket celebrated Swami Vivekananda’s 161st Birth Anniversary with due respect in our centre.
We started our journey on 12th Jan, 22 with only 4 students. At the end of the first year, we have around 100 students! This was possible only by the SUPPORT and TRUST that you have shown on us.

This is the second time, MindRocket is present in the Sonarpur Book Fair. Like the previous year, people crowded in our stall. Internation Chess Day was celebrated on 20th July 2022 in our Sonarpur Centre. A special chess class was arranged for this occasion. The students enjoyed it a lot. There was a quiz on chess.
